My Brother’s Keeper partnered with Good360, a website which helps nonprofits get free or deeply-discounted products from major retailers. Through Good360, My Brother’s Keeper purchased 110 full-size Tempur-Pedics for $5800—only $53 per mattress!—which included the cost of shipping from South Carolina.

My Brother’s Keeper normally pays $90 for full-size mattresses. Partnering with Good360 saved us $4,000 and, most importantly, gave us the best product possible to give out in Christ’s name.

The retail value of the shipment was over $200,000 but the gift of a good night’s sleep is priceless: recent studies show that chronic lack of sleep is linked to heart disease, mental health, obesity, diabetes, colds and flu while a good night’s sleep correlates with good health, more energy, a positive attitude and better grades in school.
