We view service as a privilege and a joy, not an obligation.

Not everyone has the time or the ability to come to My Brother's Keeper to volunteer. Many supporters have found other creative ways, though, to be a part of our work.

Here are a few examples:

  • Collect linens & household items through your church
  • Help your kids organize a neighborhood food drive
  • Donate personal hygiene products
  • Become a monthly donor
  • Offer your professional services
  • Apply for a grant from your employer's corporate foundation
  • Request donations to My Brother's Keeper in lieu of flowers or gifts
  • Participate in our events
  • Sponsor a family in need of gifts at Christmas
  • Knit hats & scarves as gift for our Christmas program
  • Tell others about our work
  • Pray for the success of My Brother's Keeper

"Christian Idol" Talent Show benefits My Brother's Keeper

With help from her friends and family, Easton teenager Elizabeth Leitzmann planned and coordinated 'Christian Idol,' a talent show at New Hope Christian Chapel featuring performances by local students like Mike Hansen and Ralph Peterson.

"Help is needed around the globe so I wanted to organize an event to benefit those suffering locally and internationally," Elizabeth shared. 100% of the ticket sales benefitted My Brother's Keeper and victims of Haiti's earthquake through Catholic Relief Services.

Elizabeth, a My Brother's Keeper volunteer since 2005, is pictured along with her mom Clare dropping off a donation in the amount of $1,057.



A suggestion: Ask yourselves this question.
"Am I my brother's keeper?" If the answer is Yes, perhaps you would like to join us, as we go Along the Way in spreading the Love and Hope of Jesus Christ.
