Along with our staff, 12-14 students sleep overnight at My Brother's Keeper, celebrate daily Mass, deliver furniture and food, volunteer at local homeless shelters and soup kitchens, listen to guest speakers, and reflect each evening on their service.
This incredibly popular event started as the '100 Lovely Ladies Dinner.' It now includes more than 200 local women each year who enjoy each other's company and celebrate the work and mission of My Brother's Keeper. The event is much more than a fundraiser and a fun night out. It's a great opportunity to introduce new friends to our work: nearly 70 of the 'lovely ladies' last year were first-time attendees.
In partnership with the Archdiocese of Boston, My Brother's Keeper hosts a training retreat for men looking to become a deacon through the Archdiocese's Diaconate Formation Program.
Many of our Christmas volunteers — especially those with young children — ask, "How else can we be involved at My Brother's Keeper?" Our answer… The 3rd Annual My Brother's Keeper Family Walk. It's a celebration of our community: a family united in Christ serving families in need. The day includes a prayer service, a beautiful 3-mile route around Stonehill College and Easton's Sheep Pasture, followed by lunch with plenty of fun activities for children. The theme of the day is 'Building Community, One Step at a Time.' Come enjoy the company of your fellow volunteers and supporters and introduce new people to the My Brother's Keeper family and mission. All are welcome.
Come join us for a fun round of golf for a great cause. The golf package includes a hearty buffet breakfast, a round of golf at beautiful Foxborough Country Club, carts, greens fees, prime rib dinner and prizes. Bramble format. Special thanks to the event's main sponsor, Superior Plumbing.
